My Pittsburgh CoolSculpting® Experience: WEEK 3

With CoolSculpting®, Pittsburgh clients can precisely target stubborn fat WITHOUT liposuction, surgery, needles or lasers. This is the first completely non-invasive fat-reduction treatment available—ever. As the blogger for The Skin Center Medical Spa, I was asked to be the LIVE demonstration patient for our Pittsburgh CoolSculpting body contouring launch so that I could share my experience with you.

I managed to reach the WEEK 3 mark without a daily obsession over the progress of my non-surgical CoolSculpting treatment. Knowing that results are a gradual process (over the course of two to four months) has prevented me from anxiously pulling on my skinny jeans each morning.

WHAT I’VE NOTICED

I’ve just begun to see some changes as a result of my CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure on May 17, 2012.

The swelling is gone. After my muffin top fat-freezing adventure, I experienced a slight puffiness to the area for the first week or so. That minor swelling has completely subsided.

Very little numbness. After treatment, the area was completely numb to the touch. It is common for the treated area to remain somewhat numb for four to six weeks after treatment. I’m happy to report that after three weeks, my sensitivity is gradually returning.

• Starting to see progress. And when I pinch the lower abdominal areas that had been marked as the thickest (yes, with an “X”) I’m now noticing a subtle fat-reduction. I know that changes aren’t expected to be monumental at this time. More dramatic results are expected at 2-3 months, so I am actually very pleased with my CoolSculpting results so far.

STAY TUNED!

I’ll be keeping you posted on my progress.
