New Treatments

Earlobe Volumizing

In the past, thin, sagging earlobes have been accepted as a simple fact of getting older (or wearing heavy earrings!) At The Skin Center Medical Spa, we are now enhancing the appearance of elongated earlobes with an Earlobe Volumizing Treatment. Using a simple hyaluronic acid dermal filler like Restylane™, we are able to plump and restore sagging, wrinkled earlobes, making them appear smaller and more youthful instantly. And, we've found that dermal fillers in the earlobes seem to last longer than in other facial regions because of the lack of continuous muscle movement.

BOTOX® Cosmetic Can Improve First Impressions

According to a recently published article, botulinum toxin A (BOTOX® Cosmetic) treatments positively affect first-impression judgments in relation to attractiveness, dating success, and athleticism, says new research presented at the 2008 American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Chicago, IL.

The authors did not find any positive correlation between botulinum toxin A (BOTOX® Cosmetic) injection and increased scores regarding social skills, financial, or relationship success.
