QuickLiftTM Frequently Asked Questions
| How long will the results last? |
The QuickLift can erase five years or more from your appearance; however, afterwards, the normal aging process will resume. Your lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, exposure to sun and heredity all play a role in determining how long lasting the result will be.

| What degree of scarring can I expect? |
Most of the scar is hidden as the incision is carefully planned along the side burn area, behind the triages of the ear, and under and behind the earlobe.
To further minimize visible scarring, Dr. Brandy uses an exclusive suture technique that reduces tension at the incision site, and he sutures under magnification for more precise closure. In most cases, scarring is virtually undetectable when patients follow post-op care instructions.

| What is the recovery time? |
Essentially overnight. Bruising and swelling are minimal in most patients. Physical activity should be kept at a minimum for the first week after the procedure. |
|
| What kind of anesthesia is used? |
The QuickLift is performed under local anesthesia, which makes the procedure painless and minimizes the risk of complications. A light breakfast may be eaten before your procedure.

|
| Who are the best candidates for the procedure? |
Ideally, the best candidates for the procedure are men and women between 40 and 65+ years old with mild to moderate lower facial / neck laxity (looseness). These individuals typically lead busy lives, which demands more immediate results with little if any downtime. |
|
| What can be done for the upper portion of my face? |
The ThermageTM Nonsurgical Facelift is often performed in conjunction with the QuickLift. This treatment tightens the skin on the forehead and lifts the eyebrows to create a more alert, more youthful appearance. Upper and lower Blepharoplasty procedures may be performed to remove excess skin above the eyelids or puffy bags beneath the eyes.
