QuickLift Facelift

Pittsburgh, PA | Columbus, OH

The QuickLift® Facelift is a minimally invasive, facelift procedure that gently lifts the mid-to-lower portion of face and tightens the neck and jaw line.  The result is a refreshed, well-rested, more youthful appearance and a restored sense of confidence that truly radiates from the inside out!

The QuickLift Facelift:

• Tightens Jowls

• Lifts and Defines Cheeks

• Smoothes the Neckline

• Reduces Nasolabial Folds

For our clients with a demanding lifestyle, facelift surgery is not always an option.  The QuickLift delivers similar results to those obtained through a traditional facelift but with a lower likelihood of complications, a faster recovery and a more natural-looking result.

When selecting your facelift surgeon, don’t be fooled by physicians offering a similarly named procedure.  In Pittsburgh, the QuickLift facelift is performed exclusively at The Skin Center Medical Spa; and can be performed by Dominic Brandy, MD, board-certified cosmetic surgeon and developer of the Quicklift or by board-certified cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Reza Bolourian.  During your private consultation you will decide which surgeon best fits your needs.  No matter which surgeon you choose for your QuickLift facelift, in Pittsburgh cosmetic surgery is performed in our state-licensed and nationally accredited, AAAHC outpatient surgery center located in Mt. Lebanon, PA.

In Columbus, QuickLift facelift surgery is performed by board-certified plastic surgeon, Fernando Colon, MD in our nationally accredited (AAAHC) surgical center.

Christina,

Words cannot express the emotional gratitude I feel everyday. Thank you! I will never forget this experience and I will never forget you!

Treatment Information

QuickLift facelift surgery is performed at one of The Skin Center Medical Spa's outpatient surgical facilities.  Performed under local anesthesia or IV sedation, the QuickLift is performed in just a couple of hours, when performed alone.  Completely customizable to each client, many people choose to combine the QuickLift with other types of facial rejuvenation procedures for an even more youthful and well-rested result.

Benefits of QuickLift Facelift Surgery:

• Outpatient Procedure

• Local Anesthesia or Twilight Sedation

• Minimal Downtime*

• Natural-looking Results

• Immediate Results with Lasting Improvement

*When performed alone

Developed by Pittsburgh native, Dominic Brandy, MD, board-certified cosmetic surgeon and founding medical director of The Skin Center Medical Spa, the QuickLift procedure begins with a small incision just inside the hairline, beginning at the temple and continuing downward along the tragus of the ear and finishing around the earlobe to the nape hair.

The underlying connective tissue and facial muscles are gently lifted upward and suspended using a purse-string suture technique, which immediately lifts the face, enhances the appearance of the jaw line and upper neck and ensures the facelift results are long-lasting.

Then, the excess skin is carefully removed and the incision is meticulously closed under magnification using a suturing technique designed to reduce tension and minimize any visible facelift scars.

This QuickLift procedure may be performed with local anesthesia or twilight sedation, making it very comfortable for the patient and resulting in minimal bleeding and less bruising and swelling.

QuickLift Facelift Recovery

Prescription pain medication is provided to help manage the pain following the facelift surgery; however, many individuals say that an over-the-counter pain reliever is all that is needed.  In addition to some mild discomfort, some people may experience temporary bruising, which can be camouflaged with makeup three days following the surgery.  To minimize swelling, patients are encouraged to sleep with their head elevated for the first week and to apply cold compresses the first 48 hours.

Healing time from the QuickLift facelift varies from person to person and depends on whether other facial rejuvenation procedures were performed during the surgery.  Healing time can last from three to five days up to two weeks or longer and will be discussed in detail during your surgical consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How long do the results of the QuickLift facelift last?
The results of the QuickLift facelift are long-lasting; however, after the surgery, the normal aging process will resume. Lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, exposure to sun and heredity all play a role in determining how long-lasting the results will be. Most people find that they continue to look more relaxed and youthful after the surgery no matter how many years have passed.
Who are the best candidates for a QuickLift Facelift?
Ideally, the best candidates are healthy men and women between 40 and 65+ years old with mild-to-moderate lower facial / neck laxity (looseness). These individuals usually lead busy lives, which demands more immediate results and minimal downtime. Because the QuickLift facelift is completely customizable to the aging of each, up to a triple-concentric purse string suture can be used to lift and tone sagging skin along the jaw line. Additionally, other facial procedures may be added for enhanced rejuvenation effects.
What other facial rejuvenation treatments can be performed with the QuickLift?
The QuickLift facelift is tailored to the needs of each individual, therefore additional facial rejuvenation surgeries may be recommended to further enhance the result. For many of our clients, the QuickLift may be performed in combination with one or more of the following treatments: • Brow Lift • Eyelid Surgery • SmartLipo™ Facial Liposuction • Chemical Eye Peel • Full-face Chemical Peels
How much does a QuickLift facelift cost?
The QuickLift facelift, when performed alone, typically costs around $6,500. However, the cost of a QuickLift facelift will depend on your facial aging concerns and if any additional cosmetic surgery procedures are being performed. During a private face lift consultation, we will discuss your overall facial and anti-aging goals as well as your expectations from the surgery. By the end of your consultation, you will have a clear understanding of the cost of a face lift, the results you can expect and the recovery time.
Are there risks associated with Cosmetic Surgery procedures?
Men and women of all ages choose cosmetic surgery for a number of reasons and the process of deciding to have elective cosmetic plastic surgery is highly individualized and very personal. This decision can offer lasting improvement not only to an individual's physical appearance, but also to his or her self-confidence and self-esteem. However, choosing to have any type of elective surgery, including cosmetic surgery is not without risk and potential complications.
