How does the DermaSweep™ treatment compare to Microdermabrasion?
The overall effect is similar to microdermabrasion but the DermaSweep™ seems to be a cleaner process with less manipulation of the skin.

How much downtime should I expect?
There is no downtime associated with the DermaSweep™. Although we encourage women not to wear makeup for the remainder of the day, if necessary, it may be applied immediately following the treatment. Most women, however, enjoy the clean, fresh feeling of their complexions and usually wait until the next day. Unlike other exfoliating treatments, there is very little peeling afterwards because the skin cell buildup is removed during the actual DermaSweep™ process.

Will I need more than one DermaSweep™ treatment?
The condition of your skin will determine how many treatments may be recommended for you. In some cases, four to six treatments performed every two weeks may be suggested for optimal results. In many instances, even those with more youthful complexions opt for subsequent DermaSweep™ treatments because they like the way their skin feels for days afterwards.
