With the use of a hyaluronic acid dermal filler like Restylane, our nurses and physician assistants use creative filling techniques to plump and beautify long, stretched and sagging earlobes.

A topical anesthetic and cool packs are applied for several minutes prior to treatment, making Earlobe Volumizing virtually painless. Once the area is desensitized, a small amount of the dermal filler is injected into the earlobe using an ultra fine-gauge needle. Results are seen immediately. How many treatments will I need?
Typically, one treatment is needed to achieve fuller, more youthful appearing earlobes. Once any swelling subsided, a touch-up treatment may be performed if more fullness is desired or your earlobes were uneven prior to treatment.

What can I expect following the Earlobe Volumizing Treatment?
You may notice very, very slight bleeding at the injection site immediately following treatment. When this occurs, the area will be wiped with a cloth or tissue by our nurse or physician assistant. Pressure should not be applied to the area.

Following treatment, your earlobes will be slightly swollen, which you may not even notice. This slight swelling will usually dissipate in 24 hours. Minor bruising is less common but may occur and will subside in a few days. A camouflage concealing cream may be applied if desired.
