Eyelid surgery may be performed on the upper lids to remove excess skin and correct sagging eyelids or it may be performed on the lower lids to remove fatty pouches or "bags" beneath the eyes. The results of Eyelid Surgery can be very dramatic, lasting up to ten years, and sometimes longer.
