Age Reversal Hand Rejuvenation can be performed on anyone wanting to improve the appearance of mature-looking hands. How many treatments will I need?

The Age Reversal Hand Rejuvenation Treatment can be performed in just two quick visits to The Skin Center with subsequent treatments performed two or three times each year to maintain the youthful result.

What can I expect during a Age Reversal Hand Rejuvenation Treatment?

Your personal experience during the treatment will depend on the type of laser treatment that is best suited to your skin condition. However, all of the laser treatments are considered gentle and minimally-invasive. During the treatment, your eyes will be shielded from the light with safety glasses. As the laser is applied, you may feel slight warming of the skin or the sensation of a rubber band snapping, again the sensation will vary depending on the laser used. A topical anesthetic may be applied prior to treatment, as the hands are sensitive area for most women.

You will be asked to return to the office for the dermal filler treatment which will add fullness. In the meantime your Jan Marini Age Intervention Hands product will continue to brighten and rejuvenate your skin. Daily application of a sunblock is strongly recommended and encouraged after hand washing for optimal results.

What can I expect following the Age Reversal Hand Rejuvenation Treatment?

Again, this is dependant on the type of laser used. However, following most laser treatments, the treated area may have a flushed or sunburned appearance, you may experience slight flaking of the skin and you will have to take extra precautions to protect the treated area from the sun. Some people may experience some slight redness and swelling at the injection site, which typically subsides in a few days.

What type of aftercare is required?

There is minimal aftercare involved with the Age Reversal Hand Rejuvenation Treatment. Included in the package is Jan Marini Age Intervention® for Hands cream to be used at-home for continued improvement and maintenance. Immediately following the treatment, the hands will be sensitive to UV light and will need to be shaded from direct sun exposure. Sunscreen should be applied daily to help prevent any additional damage to the skin.
