Is Hylaform® safe?
Yes. Hylaform® has been used in international markets for nearly a decade and has a proven safety record. However, it is not intended for the very small percentage of people with allergies to avian proteins.

Will I experience any side effects from the treatment?
Side effects from Hylaform® are mild and can include some temporary redness, swelling, bruising and itching at the injection site.

How often will I need to repeat the treatment?
After your initial treatment, maintenance injections are recommended three or four times per year. However each person is different and the rate at which your body absorbs this type of hylauronic acid will determine the frequency of maintenance injections.

What will happen if I choose not to have maintenance injections?
Over time your body will absorb the Hylaform® and your skin will appear as it did prior to the initial treatment.

How long does a Hylaform® treatment take?
The length of the procedure depends on the size of the area treated. Typically the procedure is complete in less than an hour.
