Illuminize Peel™

The Illluminize Peel™ is a "skin brightening" facial treatment that is ideal for individuals wanting gentle exfoliation with improvement in skin clarity, color and texture.

The Illuminize Peel™ uses a newer generation of alpha-hydroxy acids (Mandelic and Malic Acids) in combination with Phytic Acid and commonly used peeling agents (Salicylic Acid and Resorcinol) to maximize the skin rejuvenating effects with less irritation than other chemical peels.

While a single treatment is ideal for women and men wanting to rejuvenate their skin for a special occasion, a series of Illuminize Peels can improve the appearance of more mature, photo-damaged complexions by offering deeper exfoliation with the added benefit of skin toning.

During the treatment, which takes 20 - 30 minutes, you may feel a warm tingling sensation while the solution is applied and for as long as it remains on your face. If desired, a handheld fan may be used to enhance your comfort level.

Immediately following the treatment, a hydrating topical agent will be applied to your face. Most clients experience little or no peeling afterwards. Within a few days, your skin will have increased glow and radiance, improved clarity, color and texture and a brighter, more youthful appearance.

The Illuminize Peel™ is appropriate for first-time chemical peel clients or those with sensitive skin who are unsure of the effects of a chemical peel on their complexions.

Is there any discomfort associated with the Illuminize Peel™?
Some clients experience a mild to moderate warm sensation during treatment. For the comfort of sensitive patients, we have a handheld fan that can offer a cooling effect.

Can an Illuminze Peel be performed on sensitive skin?
Yes, actually the peel is a good first-time peel for individuals with all skin types.

How much downtime should I expect?
There is little to no downtime associated with the Illuminize Peel™, as most clients experience little or no peeling.

Will I need more than one Illuminize Peel?
Most people see a "difference" in their complexions after just one Illuminize Peel™. However, for optimal results, we recommend a series of three peels performed four to six weeks apart.

When can I apply makeup?
Makeup may be worn immediately following the peel, if necessary. However, we recommend waiting if possible until the following day if possible.
