Who should consider a Power Peel® Rx or Microdermabrasion?
Power Peels or Microdermabrasion can be performed on anyone wanting to improve the overall texture and appearance of their skin. Microdermabrasion is a resurfacing treatment that deeply exfoliates the epidermis to remove dull skin cells and reveal a softer, more youthful complexion.

How many Power Peel ® Rx treatments will I need? The number of treatments depends upon the condition, severity and the area being treated. Generally, people receive two to twelve treatments at least two weeks apart.

What can I expect during a Power Peel® Rx treatment? The Power Peel® Rx is a safe, gentle and non-invasive treatment that deeply exfoliates the skin. Each treatment may last from 10 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area. Using a patented handheld device, tiny crystals are delivered to the skin at a high velocity. They are then immediately vacuumed, taking with them the top layer of dead skin cells. The procedure is requires no an anesthesia and will leave the skin slightly flushed for a few hours.

How long will it take to recover from Power Peel® Rx?
The Power Peel ® Rx is a non-invasive, gentle procedure with virtually no down time. The treated area will appear slightly flushed and pink immediately following treatment and will dissipate within a few hours. Most people are able to return to work and resume most activities immediately following treatment.

What can I expect after the Power Peel® Rx treatment?
Some people may experience a slight pinkness or flushness at the treated area, which fades within a few hours following the procedure. Treated skin will feel softer and smoother, fine wrinkles and pores are less noticeable and acne scars and stretch marks will be less obvious.

What type of aftercare does the Power Peel® require?
