Removing Age Spots, Freckles & Hyperpigmentation
During age spot removal or hyperpigmentation treatments, a handheld medical device is used to deliver Broadband Light energy to gently heat the upper layers of skin. The treated skin absorbs the heat and the photo-thermal energy dramatically reduces rosacea redness, age spots, freckles, skin spots, and many other types of unwanted pigmentation.
Following the treatment, the treated pigmentation will darken and then begin to fade and eventually flake off. People experience a temporary darkness in pigmentation and general flakiness for up to two weeks.
For age spot removal, freckle removal or hyperpigmentation correction, typically two to five treatments every two to four weeks will produce optimal results.
The hyperpigmentation treatment can be performed on all areas of the body, however the most commonly treated areas are:
- Back of Hands
