Sculptra Aesthetic is considered a breakthrough in cosmetic fillers as it was developed to fill and re-contour larger facial areas that have experienced fat loss, or lipodystrophy.  Sculptra® Aesthetic is made of "poly-L-lactic acid", a naturally occurring substance found in the body. Poly-L-lactic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable material that has been widely used for many years in dissolvable stitches and other medical devices.

Sculptra Aesthetic improves:

  • Deep Nasolabial Folds
  • Deep Marionette Lines
  • Chin Wrinkles

Sculptra Injection Treatment

Sculptra Aesthetic is injected below the surface of the skin and provides a gradual increase in skin thickness by helping to stimulate the body's own collagen production.

Following the first treatment, it may appear that Sculptra injections produce optimal improvement, however, once the initial swelling subsides and the body absorbs the water used to dilute the Sculptra injections, one or more additional treatment may be necessary.

The number of Sculptra treatments needed depends on the severity of the depressed area and the amount of added volume desired. Sculptra Aesthetic takes time to gradually improve fullness in the depressed area as it stimulates the body’s own collagen production.  The results with Sculptra filler are long term and can last up to two years.  In some instances, a touch-up Sculptra treatment may be needed to maintain the desired effect.
