Rachelle DePetro, RN, Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Injector, has over 30 years of nursing experience. She has been an aesthetic injector for 14+ years. Rachelle uses her extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and cosmetic injection techniques to provide beautiful, natural results for her patients.

Rachelle is a facial aesthetics trainer for Allergan Medical Institute, the makers of Botox, Juvederm filler, and Kybella. As a trainer, she educates medical professionals on facial anatomy, aseptic technique, how to inject, and how to treat adverse events.

Rachelle has received comprehensive training on a wide variety of aesthetic injectable products from leading physicians in the aesthetic industry. She has a light-hearted and compassionate personality and is known for her ability to make her patients feel comfortable during their aesthetic transformation.

A good skincare routine at home is a must! It will help maintain results from treatments and procedures received in the med spa. You can get Botox® for wrinkles, but if your skin is dull and uneven you’re not getting the full benefit. The same goes for peels and laser treatments. You want to prolong the results by taking care of skin at home.

Neurotoxin treatments (Botox®, Dysport, etc.) These quick, virtually painless procedures yield big results. Depending on the severity, neurotoxins can soften or eliminate wrinkles caused by repetitive movements such as frowning. Your face appears softer, younger and rejuvenated.

My Favorite Client Transformation Stories

An 80 year-old woman came in upset over her frown lines. She is very active. She was told that she looks angry all the time. This hurt her feelings because she is a happy, upbeat person. I used Botox to soften and restrict movement, then added Restylane to fill in the lines between her brows. She was so happy with the results. She felt that she looked on the outside how she felt on the inside—happy and kind. She started to tear up and so did I. I was touched by how much it meant to her.

Two men came in lip augmentations. They had thin lips and had been wanting fuller lips for a long time—especially because they are performers. After treatment, they were both thrilled and excited. They loved their new lips. They have since referred their friends here for treatment as well. They had a lot of energy and were fun to work with.

My Greatest Challenge

Part of our job is to educate each patient about realistic results that can be expected from any given treatment. Being completely sure that the patient fully understands what to expect can be difficult.

Another challenge is to let a patient know that what they really need is surgery (and not a med spa treatment) in order to achieve their desired outcome.

What I Love Most About My Work

The Skin Center is a wonderful place to work. First, I am doing what I love to do—performing treatments that help people feel and look refreshed, rejuvenated and a little younger. It’s very rewarding. I’m proud to be part of a company that continually keeps up with the newest technologies in order to provide their patients with the best treatment options. The Skin Center is well known and respected. I also get to work with a great group of people. It’s nice that everyone is here for each other—to share treatment tips and advice. Having a national trainer in injectables on staff in invaluable.
