CoolSculpting Elite Pre/Post Instructions

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
Drink plenty of water 24 hours leading up to treatment.  
Avoid unnecessary blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medications (e.g. NSAIDs like ibuprofen), but please take all medications that are prescribed by your primary physician as you normally would.

You may experience nausea, stinging and/or cramping in the treatment area as your body naturally re-warms and sensation returns.
After a chin/jawline treatment, a feeling of fullness in the back of the throat may occur.
The treatment areas may look or feel stiff. Temporary blanching (whitening of the skin) may also occur.   
The treatment area may be red for up to a few hours after the applicator is removed.  Bruising may also occur. 
You may otherwise resume all normal activities.

Stay well hydrated.
It is common to feel bloated and appear swollen in the treatment areas.  
You may experience one or more of the following sensations: deep itching, tingling, numbness/dullness of sensation, tenderness to the touch, pain, cramping, muscle spasms, aching and/or soreness in the treatment areas. Consult your provider if these conditions persist beyond two weeks or worsen over time.   
You may take Tylenol for discomfort and Benadryl if any itching occurs.

It typically takes 1-3 months to see results after each treatment, with full results taking 6 months or more. 
Weight gain will prevent you from appreciating your full results. We recommend maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine.
